Description
An unusual steampunk style kit which comes together to create an enjoyable toy. Steampunk helicopters seem rather unlikely but why not have a little fun? According to Wikipedia steampunk is, “a retrofuturistic subgenre of science fiction or science fantasy that incorporates technology and aesthetic designs inspired by 19th-century industrial steam-powered machinery”. A steam engine would struggle to produce the power needed for a vertical lift but we can dream.
Assemble in around 20 minutes, use the PVA glue supplied for a long-lasting toy. May be finished with acrylic paints or varnish.
Approximately 22cm (9 inch) with tab and slot construction, opening doors, moving rotors and a working winch with hook for great play.
Each kit contains 22 press-out pieces of high quality birch plywood, laser-cut for accuracy and smooth edges, string for the winch, PVA glue and a small piece of sandpaper. Ideal gift for girls and boys over three years.
